Mzuni Interns at URAC

URAC received two hard working students from Mzuzu University (www.mzuni.ac.mw) for their 3 months internship. The two interns, Joseph Mduzi (left) and Lickson Chitema (right) are on internship as part of their academic requirement to graduate in the Urban & Regional Planning programme in the Built Environment Department. Every year URAC hosts student interns from across the world who come to collect data for their bachelor theses,  to fulfill the practical requirements of degree programmes and as part of their governments’ national programmes for international experience before joining the university back home.

Potential Interns

Those who want experience as interns are free to participate in any of our flexible programmes. The programmes include the Clean Beaches Project where, in addition to keeping beaches clean for safe sanitation, they can also participate in the Annual Chigumbuli Beach Soccer Tournament or participate in tree planting at 8 primary school around Chintheche Town. We also have water and health projects at Chilumba in Karonga and Water and school projects at Ngala in Nkhotakota and urban food systems  and school projects in Mzuzu.
