URAC BOARD CHAIR

BOARD CHAIR POST FILLED

The URAC Board, sitting at Chigumbuli Beach in Chintheche on 21^st December 2020, unanimously elected Mr. Mike Moyo as the new chairman of the board of directors of URAC for a two-year period.   

Mr Moyo is a fellow of Malawi Institute of Physical Planners (MIPP) and one of country’s most experienced urban planners. Moyo worked in government as deputy commissioner for Physical Planning, he worked as programme manager of Secondary Centres Development Programme (SCDP), as Director of Urban Development in LDF and has been a consultant for GIZ and KfW on multiple projects over a period spanning 2 decades.

He replaced Prof. David Mphande (MHSRIP) who died 2 years ago.
